Week 4 - Project 365
DAY 22 - The day started out with rain but ended with beautiful blue skies. I found my girls along with the girls from across the street sun bathing in our driveway.
Day 23 - I took this photo from my car window because ... I got out of the car - 100's of grasshoppers went flying and so did I - right back to the car. Now you all know - I'm afraid of grasshoppers.
Day 24 - I found my photo behind my neighbors 6 foot fence so I grabbed the closest thing to stand on - a child's plastic chair. I snapped my one and only photo and then the chair snapped as well.
Day 25 - Blowing Bubbles ...
Day 26 - I won't keep you guessing with this mystery picture ... it's my foot soaking in a foot bath. I've had a sore toe for a week now and was on the mend ... until my daughter ran over my foot with a shopping cart today.
Day 27 - A room with view - Olivia's kindergarten classroom.
Day 28 - Nope ...my car isn't the lucky one getting washed ... maybe tomorrow

Week 2 - Project 365
Day 8 - Brookside Nature Center is one of our all time favorite places to visit (and it's free)! I fell instantly in love with these tiny tan/brown flowers - I have no idea what they are but they are incredible.
Day 9 - Our plans to go to the park changed when we realized that we had a very sick dog to take care of. She's fighting a terrible infection - I'm washing everything including her collar - I've got to keep things clean for her. Pray for our dear Abby.
Day 10 - What better way to cool off on a very hot day than homemade cherry slushies - Yummy!
Day 11 - We had our annual trip to the allergist to test Annabelle's peanut and dairy allergies. We won't know more until after she's had the blood test.
Day 12 - We had a huge thunderstorm this morning and I was sure that I heard a tree fall out back. I was out checking for damage when I saw my photograph. I was going for a full silhouette but I love that you can still see some green so I left it as is.
Day 13 - Name that mystery fruit? I won't keep you guessing ... it's a Pluot- 1/2 plum and 1/2 apricot. While shopping in Costco today we sampled same and just had to buy a pack.
Day 14 - We have a special 8th birthday in our house tomorrow ... the cake is finished baking but I still have to decorate it before going to bed.

Week 1 - Project 365
On August 1, 2010 I started Project 365 ... it's a photo a day for a full year (if you are interested in seeing the photo's daily check out Carey Sims Photography on Facebook).
Day 1 - After more than a week away from home ... nothing is better than your own coffee and bed.
Day 2 - The kids had a play date this morning and out came the play-doh ... which gave me the idea of today's picture.
Day 3 -I took the kids to the movies this morning and found my photograph in the theatre parking lot (I couldn't have asked for a more beautiful sky today).
Day 4 - Can you guess which one of my children got into the markers this morning?
Day 5- I had my Vehicle Emissions Inspection today and thought it would be a great photo op. However, I was screamed at not to take pictures and was watched when leaving the station - very creepy! I was thrilled when I found this fantastic old building across the street from the inspection station.
Day 6- The cool waters of Mill Creek Towne Pool - while I was snapping a few pictures of my little mermaid - Olivia - no one was watching my 2.5 year old so today's photo session was very brief.
Day 7 - We took the kids down to DC for a picnic lunch and a little sight seeing. Despite the crowds and heat ... it was a great day. Honest Abe is my favorite memorial in our Nation's Capital.
