Week 39 - Project 365

PROJECT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 267 - Happy Easter to all!

Day 268 - This beautiful babe is recovering from major facial surgery ... I did some 'before' photos of this lad and I am truly amazed at how fantastic (and handsome) he is.

Day 269 - This old gal has been a part of my family since the beginning and isn't doing well these days. I thought that she looked youthful with the afternoon sun on her back.

Day 270 - She's got her Daddy's eyes.

Day 271 - This little lady is a hard cookie to photograph - she doesn't like the camera at all! I've been playing around with different editing styles and I am not sure if I like this look or not.

Day 272 - I was glued to the TV most of the day watching the lovely Will and Kate ... it truly was a beautiful wedding.

Day 273 - The view from the top of Sugarloaf Mountain was truly amazing this afternoon.

Week 38 - Project 365

PROJECGT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 260 - I was drawn to the moss growing on the inside edge of this picnic table.

Day 261 - We had guest in town which meant a house full of kids (6 total) ... everyone had fun playing with chalk - our driveway looked like an art museum!

Day 262 - I got caught in this afternoons rain storm and figured I would hang out in the car for a while - so while I was just sitting around I took this photo of my rain soaked window.

Day 263 - I spent most of the day working on proof sheets for the preschool shoot I had last week ... it was a big job but a lot of fun.

Day 264 - I snapped a couple of photos of this beautiful creature and let the kids toss it back into the ocean (sadly though - I think it was a lost cause).

Day 265 - This young Rhea stopped and posed for a photo today at the Salisbury Zoological Park.

Day 266 - I hope that years from now that I'll always remember days like this.

Mommy Makes Cupcakes - Part 1

I met Shannon of www.mommymakescupcakes.com back in March to do some photos to update her website. I was in heaven the whole evening ... not only are her creations beautiful but they smell fantastic and taste even better! I went to bed that night and dreamt of her heavenly creations. I'm posting part 2 of our photo session tomorrow so be sure to check back.

Six Years Old

We celebrated my middle daughter's sixth birthday with: blowing bubbles, seeing the flamingo's at the zoo (her favorite bird), birthday cake, and a mini photo session with her sisters and cousin ... we did it all! At the end of the day my beautiful butterfly was exhaused ... happy birthday my sweet girl!

Bethesda

In March my husband took the family to visit the Fraser Gallery in Bethesda, MD to view an amazing photography show at the Fraser Gallery. Sadly, the gallery closed at the end of month.

Week 37 - Project 365

PROJECT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 253 - There is hope. The deer destroyed my tulips a couple of weeks ago - I was thrilled to find a small patch of buds that are ready to bloom that the deer missed!

Day 254 - Weeping cherry blossoms by the light of the moon.

Day 255 - This beautiful pansies welcomed me as I arrived at my in-laws house today! I just love the color.

Day 256 - In Connecticut it rained pretty much all day!

Day 257 - My nephew was very proud of the Easter Eggs he colored with his mom ... so before leaving CT this afternoon I had to take a photo for him.

Day 258 - I know that most of my photos this week have involved 'flowers' but I just can't help myself ... I love this time of year! This is one of my tulips that the deer didn't destroy.

Day 259 - We were visiting the nature center this afternoon when we heard the tornado warnings - so we loaded back into the car to head home. Despite the rainy and dark skies ... I got a pretty cool reflection of a tree in the parking lot.

Old and Rustic

I love anything that is old and rustic ... it always reminds me of home. I started photographing some of these old shacks in my area for fun and before I knew it I had the start of a project. This is definitely something I plan to continue to add too ...
