Day 365 - Project 365

PROJECT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 365 - It has been quite a journey for me and I'm so thankfully for all the encouragement I've received for you all.  I'm proud to say that with the exception of posting one photo a day late because I was camping - I didn't miss a day.

The "F" Family

I met this fun family mid-June at one of my favorite locations - BrookSide Gardens. It was a hot and humid day and despite the heat the kids did great! At 1 and 3 these little ones kept me on my toes ... I wish that I had a fractions of energy that children always seem to have!

PROJECT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 351 - Today my oldest got strung by a wasp - then we noticed this paper wasp's nest hanging from the tree above us.

Day 352 - We made stepping stones using these glass mosaic tiles at camp today.

Day 353 - Today we explored Weir Farm in CT ... definitely a place to visit.

Day 354 - After camp today it was time for a little tubing on Candlewood Lake in CT.

Day 355 - And what would you like to be when you grow up?

Day 356 - It was so hot today that not even the thermometer could handle it.

Day 357 - Camp is over and the family made it to Cape Cod for a few days. I have a secret about this view but I'm waiting a little while longer before I share it with everyone. :)

The Princesses Party

In June I photographed a birthday party for two of the loveliest princesses around. The cupcakes were my favorite - tasty and beautiful (I couldn't believe that they came from Sam's Club). The afternoon was packed with lots of fun activities including a fashion show walking down the red carpet. Happy birthday girls .... it was a fantastic party!

PROJECT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 344 - This frog wasn't too sure about me ... he was getting ready to hop away!

Day 345 - It's break time during our first day of art camp in CT.

Day 346 - I was visiting with a friend this afternoon and I just loved this sun on the side of her garage.

Day 347 - These watercolor pencils are fantastic! You can color with them like a normal colored pencil or dip the tips in water and then you have watercolor paints.

Day 348 - This morning the kids had a little fun with dominos.

Day 349 - 11 years ago today I married the greatest guy for me ... Happy Anniversary Darrell - I love you!

Day 350 - It was a beautiful day to explore Kent Falls in CT.

The Baltimore Zoo

I tagged along with my daughter's kindergarten class last month when they visited the Baltimore Zoo. There was so much to see and do - it was a great day for all! The kids had fun at the wash stations and running through the mist fans --- of course the hot and humid weather conditions that day probably had a lot to do with that

The "M" Family ...

I met this beautiful family back in November and again later the first of this year when this beautiful babe was just days old. Fast forward several months and we did this family session at George Washington's Grist Mill in Virginia.

George Washington's Grist Mill

Last month I met some clients at George Washington's Grist Mill in Virginia (just a few miles away from Mount Vernon). When my session was done --- I stuck around for a few more minutes to capture the location. The place is charming and definitely worth the visit.
