Day 360 - Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Day 361 - The last stop before my in-laws headed home - Chapin Beach in Dennis, MA ... it was a bite on the cold side.

Day 356 - Thank you gifts from my Girl Scout Troops to those who help make our troops a success.

Project 2012 - Week 50

Day 344 - This is room 214 at Chatham Wayside Inn. I had a blasted giving tours of the Inn as part of the Historical Inn Tour today in Chatham.

Day 345 - After a busy weekend and a long work day I was too tired to pull out my tripod for a decent photo of our holiday lights so as you can tell this is just hand held shot.

Day 346 - The house is all ready for Santa!

Day 347 - We've been busy working on some origami holiday projects ... thankfully I've got 3 little girls who are great helpers.

Dy 348 - I've had this candle for years and I decided that it's finally time to burn it.

Day 349 - It was cookie decorating with my Girl Scout Troop this afternoon. Before I could snap the picture the head was biting off of this one ...

Day 350 - Newtown, CT is my husbands hometown --- my 7 year old nephew attends school there and my mother-in-law is the director of the Children's Adventure Center next door to Sandy Hook Elementary. My family is safe --- please, please pray for the families not as fortunate as mine!

Soon to be ...

I met this beautiful couple on rainy day in August -  a couple of weeks away from their September wedding.  The couple flew to Cape Cod from Colorado to take care of last minute wedding plans -- which included meeting me.  The skies cleared long enough for a couple of photos - after meeting them face-to-face I was even more excited about their wedding day.

Project 2012 - Week 46

Day 315 - Not one of my favorites to eat but I do love the color of the orange bell pepper!

Day 316 - These two sweet little girls are (give or take) 4 hours apart - born on the same day - same year. One is my youngest daughter and the other is my friends little girl. They turned 5 last week and we took today to celebrate their birthdays together at the Roger William Zoo in R.I.

Day 317 - Back to my fruit & veggie project ... my peach photo didn't go as planned. I had a vision of a perfectly cut peach showing off the pit .... well, my cut peach was a hot mess. So, I did the next best thing --- let my daughter eat it!

Day 318 - Okay this isn't a fruit or veggie but I wanted to photograph them anyway.

Day 319 - Back on track today ... the red onion.

Day 320 - While driving around today I couldn't help but notice the beautiful colors of the leaves --- well, what's left of them anyway.

Day 321 - After photographing the red leaves yesterday ... I decided to look for the other wonderful colors of fall.

The "A" Family ...

Wow --- loved this family!  They were vacationing on the Cape from good old Texas.  We met at Craigsville Beach in Centerville, MA (a spot were they had wedding photos taken years ago).   The family was sporting matching T-Shirts from Cuffy's -- one of my favorite stores on Cape Cod.

Day 309 - Working on a little fruit & veggie project ... today it was the artichoke (yum-yum my favorite).

Day 310 - 5 years ago today my beautiful daughter Natalie entered this world. Her birth completed our family making us a 'Party of Five.' Happy birthday little girl!

Day 311 - Today it was the pomegranate ... one of the favorite fruits! (still working on my fruit & veggie project).

Day 312 - Let me just say one thing ... blackberries are hard to photograph!

Day 313 - Another day another fruit - the pear.

Day 314 - Garlic - now that is the  good stuff!

Project 2012 - Week 44

Day 301 - Double red flag at the beach this afternoon .... extreme danger ... Sandy is headed towards us.

Day 302 - Wow is all I can say - stay safe everyone!

Day 303 - Thankfully - we survived Hurricane Sandy. We were already scheduled to have our house winterized today and hurricane or not the guys (at least 8 of them) were at our house at 8 am. Not sure what this red flap was for on our kitchen door but it reminded me of the movie "E.T." On a serious note my thoughts and prayers go out to all who were hit hard by Sandy --- I truly count my blessings that Cape Cod was spared.

Day 304 - Hope that everyone had a safe and happy Halloween and to my home state .... Happy Nevada Day!

Day 305 - My soon to be 5 yr old had fun this morning lining up her loot.

Day 306 - Between work and Hurricane Sandy ---- I just got around to taking some Halloween pics of my little witches.  The Witches of Harwich

Day 307 - Before heading home after a long day at work - I swung by Oyster Pond in Chatham, MA

Day 295 - The mums that I thought I killed in the spring seems to have come back to life.

Day 296 - Not some strange sea creature but rather a chestnut.

Day 297 - These remind me of pine cones.

Day 298 - Moon over the pond.

Day 299 - Today I went the my daughter's preschool class to CobWebb Farm for a little pumpkin picking.

Day 300 - Roger Williams Park Zoo - Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular! You wouldn't believe how long we stood in line to see this amazing display.

The "D" Family ...

I met this beautiful family in August at Corporation Beach in Dennis, MA.  The weather was perfect - I had actually hoped for a little cloud coverage but what can you do?   The girls were adorable to say the least  ...  I'm on a mission now to find beautiful white dresses like theirs for my own girls!

Day 288 - You know how I love these ....

Day 289 - The house is decorated for Halloween!

Day 290 - Love this mantel -- it's in the lobby of the Chatham Wayside Inn. If I tried to decorate like this it would look like a hot mess!

Day 291 - Not a view of Bucks Pond from my house this time but rather from the other side of the pond.

Day 292 - It was a little chilly but I still took a little walk at Hardings Beach in Chatham.

Day 293 - The Wild Goose Tavern is the restaurant at the Chatham Wayside Inn. When I saw that a creative co-worker and put the goose logo on the pumpkin - it has 'photo of the day' all over it.

Project 2012 - Week 41

Day 280 - I thought I was done with mushrooms photos but my husband wanted me to take a look at this colossal growth in the neighbors yard ---- wow is all I can say!

Day 281 - This is one of our stain glass lamps ... the girls had it turned on this evening which caught my attention.

Day 282 - After a long day of work - I found this note from my 7 year old on the kitchen counter.

Day 283 - Touring the local fire department today with my daughter's 2nd grade class - I spotted this glassed in cubby. I found it to be a beautiful memorial to a beloved fire captain who lost his battle with brain cancer.

Day 284 - Coming home from work today this wonderful letter was waiting for me. It is from the middle school principle - my oldest daughter's was chosen as student of the month for the 5th grade.

Day 285 - This hawk was after some chipmunks in our yard this morning .... what an incredible creature.

Day 286 - I  love gords --- each one is different and unique!

Day 277 - We had just a little rain today ...

Day 279 - Okay this photo isn't 100% on focus but I love it anyways - It was a beautiful day for a walk on the beach!

Project 2012 - Week 39

Day 266 - It was open house today at Camp Edward on Cape Cod. As soon as I saw all the barbed wire I knew what my photo would be today --- but despite the harshness of this photo our day was great! As always I'm thankfully to all the service men and women who protect our beautiful country.
Day 267 - I refuse to pay the price of school photos when I can do just as good and for a fraction of the price.  Luckily my girls know the drill - smile nice and you are free to go about your business.
Day 268 - The change of seasons is upon us!
Day 269 - The inside of an old boat .... I do love the rustic feel of it all!
Day 270 - Sitting in the car waiting for daughter #2 to finish up ballet .... daughter #3 goofing off in the car did this to the wind shield of the car with her head. Thankfully more damage was done to the car then to her.
Day 271 - Driving past this spot I swung in just for this photo op.
Day 272 - I was at the Community Center today which has a lovely rose garden. Despite our cold and rainy weather the roses are all still beautiful.

Future Mr. & Mrs.

Ridgevale Beach in Chatham is such a beautiful location  and the perfect back drop for this  future Mr. & Mrs.  The day was windy  so keeping hair flowing in the right direction and avoiding the harsh sun was a huge challenge.   What a wonderful couple - I wish them all the best for their up coming destination  wedding
