Project 2012 - Week 13

Day 85 - 7 years ago today my middle daughter entered this world. Thanks to Pinterest ... I found this cake idea and had to try it (a great solution for a sloppy froster like myself).
 Day 86 - We've got daffodils ... I love the spring!
Day 87 -  The wonderful members of Cape Cod Americorp entertained my Girl Scout Troop this afternoon --- which allowed me to just watch and enjoy.
Day 88 - Some mornings are more amazing then others.
Day 89 -  I often find myself at the water's edge in search of a photo --- on nice days I can spend hours enjoying the beauty that I'm blessed to have in front of me. But on cold and wet days it's all business - get my photo and go home. So I wonder ... for someone like this lady -- what drew her to the he water's edge on a day like today?
Day 90 - I normally don't use photos from my clients photo sessions for this project but this one is priceless. I don't even know what I said to upset her but she got up - put herself in the corner and pretended to cry (no real tears thankfully). I couldn't help myself - I laughed out loud.

Day 91 - TULIPS!

Project 2012 - Week 12

Day 78 - We drove to Provincetown  - while walking on the beach we came across this set of buoys.
Day 79 -  These little beauties caught my eye this afternoon.
Day 80 - I'm sure that this tall sea grass has a name but I don't know it --- it is beautiful though.
Day 81 - It was another amazing day on the Cape!
Day 82 - Our yards first flower of spring.
Day 83 - Our hydrangeas' are coming to life.

Day 84 - The Bourne Bridge is one of two ways to get onto or off of Cape Cod (by car that is). Today I took my daughter off Cape to do a little shopping for her birthday tomorrow.

Project 2012 - Week 11

Day 71 - I'm not sure why but I picked up the book Twilight the other day at the library and started reading it ... I'm hooked!
Day 72 - Happy 100th Birthday to the Girl Scouts! This is the only photo of me as a young scout but I have many-many wonderful memories. My favorite memory was planting trees on a mountain side that had been destroyed by a forest fire. Today I'm a troop leader and I can't help but wonder what my young scouts favorite memories will be!
Day 73 - A little bite sized treat for my Girl Scout troop.
Day 74 - Spring is coming!
Day 75- Tonight was my daughter's first band concert.
Day 76 - Leaving working this afternoon -- I headed over to First Encounter Beach in Eastham, MA. It was my first time there ... it was breath taking and creepy at the same time.
Day 77 - May the luck of the Irish be with you and yours.

Project 2012 - Week 10

 Day 64 - Looking Down
 Day 65 - Water Boat
 Day 66 - Hard Ware
Day 67 - It was a day of sewing.
Day 68 - A spot a found during my afternoon journeys
Day 69 - I've never noticed this rock before (I've been to this very spot many times). Today when I saw it - from a distrance - I feared it was another stranded dolphin - thankfully it was jsut a little piece of Mother Earth.
Day 70 - In honor of the 100th Birthday of the Girl Scouts (Monday 3-12-12) we celebrated with a Sock Hop and sock drive for our local homeless shelter. For weeks now we've been recording 'acts of kindness' done by our girls and today with linked them together in one very impressive chain.

Save the Date

I met with this couple on probably the coldest day of the year!  We meet at the spot that they will be getting married in June .... it's lovely to say the least.  I can't wait to see them again when the temperature is hopefully much warmer.

Project 2012 - Week 9

Day 57 - Just a little something that caught my eye while the kids were exploring the 'touch' table at the nature center today.
Day 58 - With 3 young kids I'm constantly picking these things up!
Day 59 -I snap one photo with the green back ground and changed my mind (I replaced the green with white). Once I got the images into my computer I decided that I preferred the green to white ....and though this image isn't as sharp as I would liked it's what I've got for today.

Day 60 - A couple years ago my daughter was shown how to weave wheat together into a 'Friendship Knot' ... I've always loved her creation and since I didn't get outside due to the weather this is my photo for today.
Day 61 - I'm not sure how I got my photo today ... holding an umbrella in one hand and my camera in the other. The wind was howling and it was raining cats & dogs .... did I mention the mud that I was standing in? Folks that see me out and about taking photos must think I'm a complete nut!
Day 62 - I started teaching a new class today -- afterwards I took a quick walk on the beach. The day was extrememly gray and the ocean fierce but I found this beauty!
Day 63 - Bird House
