A Family at Last

This beautiful family are close friends of mine and I was thrilled to hear that they had finally become a family. For 4 years I watched them struggle with the waiting and hoping that goes with adoption and at long last they have their son. When I did this session they had only been together for a couple of weeks and this new mom and dad wanted to have photos of their son as he was when he was adopted. It was clear to me how much this little boy was loved and it was beautiful to see how well he was adjusting to his new life in America. Just days after this session - this brave little man went through life changing facial surgery and he is doing amazing! You will be seeing more of this little lad in the future but first he has to go through another surgery and do a little recovering ... keep him in your prayers as his next surgery is scheduled for later this month.
