Fireworks

Not too bad for my first time ever shooting fireworks. After missing out on the 4th of July display because my camera batteries died - I was delighted to have another opportunity at Damascus Days. The whole family enjoyed the local parade and the fantastic fireworks - this just may be a new Sims' Family tradition.

4th of July

Assignment #3 - Red, White & Blue
I took a re-fresher class at the fabulous Penn Camera last week for low light photography and was very excited to capture the fireworks this year. However, photographers are human and do make mistakes - I packed my extra camera batteries in the wrong bag and didn't capture a single fireworks. Don't worry, if you are on my calendar for an upcoming session - I normally pack everything but the kitchen sink. :) Assignment #4 - Memories dues 7-20-10.

Old Glory

Does your heart pitter pat when you see the stripes of Old Glory waving?
Well, it should!
Happy 4th of July everyone -we all have much to be grateful for.

Baby P

The first time I saw little Payton I was mesmerized by her stunning big blue eyes and beautiful smile. I wish that I could take credit for that little twinkle in her eyes but alas that's all Payton.

Sweet Caroline

Till the end of my days - I'll always see this little girl running to greet her big brother - calling out his name and hugging him with all her heart. May you never change Sweet Caroline.

Tiny Blessing

Little Colin Thomas arrived into the world on June 11, 2010. When this beautiful little soul was just 11 days old, I made the 5 hour drive to Connecticut to see him. Despite technical problems that day (my off camera lighting decided not to corporate leaving me without the proper lighting) - I was able to capture a few shots that I hope the family will always treasure.

Many thanks to my dear friends - Chris and Amy - for allowing me into their home and spending time with this amazing miracle.
