Week 22 - Project 365

PROJECT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 148 - The girls received these retro lights from their Auntie. Before everyone headed home to CT - my father-in-law and husband made sure that they were hung.

Day 149 - We took a trip to the National Cyptologic Museum - very cool stuff!

Day 150 - The girls wanted to know if it would be safe to walk on the ice ... I would have to say NO!

Day 151 - So now I know what my husband is really doing when he's suppose to be playing with the kids outside.

Day 152 - I took both Olivia and Natalie to get their hair cut today ... the first time for both. Since Olivia doesn't have much hair to begin with (it's very fine) ... she left looking the same. Natalie - on the other hand .... well, let's just say I wasn't happy.

Day 153 - Hugs-n-Kisses to all as we begin 2010 to a close. Be safe tonight my friends ...

Day 154 - The family took a hike at Lake Needwood. There was a section of trees (hundreds of them) marked with these little silver discs ... guess what I found. Happy 2011 everyone.

Colorado by Car

Once safely on the ground in Colorado Springs we hop into the car and drove 4 plus hours to Delta, CO through Monarch Pass. The drive took us longer then usual because of the weather which left us no time to stop for photos (all of these were taken from the moving car through the window). Colorado reminded me so much of growing up in Nevada ...it felt good to be with the mountains again.

Colorado by Air

I flew to Colorado Springs, CO in the middle of December to photography a wedding. Though it was a working trip - I had a fantastically great time mainly because I got to work with my dear friend Starr of Starr Thompson Photography. I'm not exactly afraid to fly but I don't like it so I distracted myself by taking a few pictures. These all were taken leaving the Dallas Airport ... we crossed over a freeway (freaky), saw black smoke off in the distances (very unnerving), but once we were in the air it was a smooth flight.

Little Miss "L"

Being the mother of three bald babies I was amazed at all her beautiful locks! All this little one wanted to do was go to sleep - she would start to drift off into dream land and my flashes would wake her right up! She was fast asleep by the time I packed up my equipment and headed home.

The "W" Family

I received a call right before my trip to Colorado to photograph this beautiful family. I couldn't fit them in before I left but I was able to meet them right before Christmas. I'm very happy that I did ... I enjoyed working with them very much. I'm pretty sure that this family got what they wanted for Christmas this year!

Week 21 - Project 365

PROJECT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 141- Heading to the airport in Colorado Springs but first we had to drive through Monarch Pass!

Day 142 - When you are away from home on business ... you get the kids a little something at the airport. I got a get deal on these Webkinz ( $4.99 each which is an incredible price). Being exhausted from my trip I asked my girls to come up with something creative ... this is what they wanted to do.

Day 143 - These solar powered lights only work for an hour or two at night. They may not work well, but they sure are pretty.

Day 144- I'm lucky enough to pass this beautiful farm everyday ... for Weeks now I've been meaning to swing in for a photo and today was that day.

Day 145 - It's hard to believe that Christmas is just about here. I wanted to share my favorite ornament ... it's from my first Christmas together with my husband.

Day 146 - "Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night."

Day 147 - Unto us a Child is Born.

Beautiful Baby Boy - Part 2

Beautiful Baby Boy ... at only 9 days old he is already comfortable in front of the camera. I'm very blessed in knowing this little one - he lives right down the street from me and I truly look forward to watching him grow.
