PROJECT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 183 - Drip, drip, drip

Day 184 - We looked into buying this property years ago but decided against it since it has a huge pond in the front yard - which is now frozen and decorated quite nicely.

Day 185 - Today I decided to re-visit my product photography days. When I saw the 'heart' on the can - I thought what better way to start off the month of February. Thanks for the love everyone.

Day 186 - I love the days when doing the simplest things - like trying to open a bottle of nail polish --- leads to my photo.

Day 187 - Lucky's tank is now nice and clean.

Day 188 - The splash from a single drop of water.

Day 189 - A little history for you ... Muncaster Mill served our area from 1772-1925.

As usual I'm behind on my 'thank you' cards but I promise that I'm getting to them very soon! I had a great day celebrating my birthday with the beautiful flowers in my life.

Ice Storm

Ice storms are awful and can cause a ton of damage .... and forget about driving anywhere! However, the photo opportunities are out of this world! Here are just a few of the images that I took during the ice storm that hit us January 17th!

Gift Cards

I finally have a gift card design that I'm satisfied with - I make each card by hand using your choice of colors and/or theme. Engagement, birthday parties, senior portraits, maternity and newborn sessions .... why not give the gift of photography to that special someone?

Cryptology

We're a family that is all about doing things together but on a budget ... it doesn't get any better then free. The National Cryptologic Museum in Maryland is not only free but it's very kid friendly and the staff is extremely helpful!

Week 26 - Project 365

PROJECT 365 - A PHOTO A DAY FOR A FULL YEAR

Day 176 - Valieant Bridge was erected in memory of Joan Valieant - teacher and environmentalist - built by Rockville High School students. I didn't know Ms. Valieant but she must have been quite a lady.

Day 177 - I was mesmerized watching the balloons blowing in the wind while sitting at a red light.

Day 178 - I made several family signs years ago and it's become a tradition for my kids to take a special picture for the birthday person every year. Guess who has a birthday later this week?

Day 179 - No school due to snow means that the kids finally get to try out the Zipfy sleds that they got for Christmas.

Day 180 - For pick up only! :)

Day 181 - The Sims Family is staying nice and cozy despite all our snow and very cold weather.

Day 182 - I pass this beautiful field all the time on my way home ... it looks especially beautiful covered in snow.
