Project 2012 - Week 43

.
Day 294 - What a beautiful afternoon at Red River.

Day 295 - The mums that I thought I killed in the spring seems to have come back to life.

Day 296 - Not some strange sea creature but rather a chestnut.

Day 297 - These remind me of pine cones.

Day 298 - Moon over the pond.

Day 299 - Today I went the my daughter's preschool class to CobWebb Farm for a little pumpkin picking.

Day 300 - Roger Williams Park Zoo - Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular! You wouldn't believe how long we stood in line to see this amazing display.

The "D" Family ...

I met this beautiful family in August at Corporation Beach in Dennis, MA.  The weather was perfect - I had actually hoped for a little cloud coverage but what can you do?   The girls were adorable to say the least  ...  I'm on a mission now to find beautiful white dresses like theirs for my own girls!

Project 2012 - Week 42

Day 287 - It amazes me how much fun decorating pumpkins can be!

Day 288 - You know how I love these ....

Day 289 - The house is decorated for Halloween!

Day 290 - Love this mantel -- it's in the lobby of the Chatham Wayside Inn. If I tried to decorate like this it would look like a hot mess!

Day 291 - Not a view of Bucks Pond from my house this time but rather from the other side of the pond.

Day 292 - It was a little chilly but I still took a little walk at Hardings Beach in Chatham.

Day 293 - The Wild Goose Tavern is the restaurant at the Chatham Wayside Inn. When I saw that a creative co-worker and put the goose logo on the pumpkin - it has 'photo of the day' all over it.

Project 2012 - Week 41

Day 280 - I thought I was done with mushrooms photos but my husband wanted me to take a look at this colossal growth in the neighbors yard ---- wow is all I can say!

Day 281 - This is one of our stain glass lamps ... the girls had it turned on this evening which caught my attention.

Day 282 - After a long day of work - I found this note from my 7 year old on the kitchen counter.

Day 283 - Touring the local fire department today with my daughter's 2nd grade class - I spotted this glassed in cubby. I found it to be a beautiful memorial to a beloved fire captain who lost his battle with brain cancer.

Day 284 - Coming home from work today this wonderful letter was waiting for me. It is from the middle school principle - my oldest daughter's was chosen as student of the month for the 5th grade.

Day 285 - This hawk was after some chipmunks in our yard this morning .... what an incredible creature.

Day 286 - I  love gords --- each one is different and unique!

Project 2012 - Week 40

Day 273 - Every once in a while you need a lazy Sunday!

Day 274 - Ivy grow like crazy here on the cape .... It's probably not good for the trees but it is beautiful as it wraps around them.

Day 275 - 98% of our roses are gone for the season but we still have a few beautiful blooms.

Day 276 - One the new decorations put out for the autumn months at the Inn.

Day 277 - We had just a little rain today ...

Day 278 - Today I helped chaperon the 2nd grade field trip to Brooks Academy Museum to learn about cranberry bogs. Every bog needs, clay, gravel, peat moss and sand to grow ... who knew?

Day 279 - Okay this photo isn't 100% on focus but I love it anyways - It was a beautiful day for a walk on the beach!

Project 2012 - Week 39

Day 266 - It was open house today at Camp Edward on Cape Cod. As soon as I saw all the barbed wire I knew what my photo would be today --- but despite the harshness of this photo our day was great! As always I'm thankfully to all the service men and women who protect our beautiful country.
Day 267 - I refuse to pay the price of school photos when I can do just as good and for a fraction of the price.  Luckily my girls know the drill - smile nice and you are free to go about your business.
Day 268 - The change of seasons is upon us!
Day 269 - The inside of an old boat .... I do love the rustic feel of it all!
Day 270 - Sitting in the car waiting for daughter #2 to finish up ballet .... daughter #3 goofing off in the car did this to the wind shield of the car with her head. Thankfully more damage was done to the car then to her.
Day 271 - Driving past this spot I swung in just for this photo op.
Day 272 - I was at the Community Center today which has a lovely rose garden. Despite our cold and rainy weather the roses are all still beautiful.

Future Mr. & Mrs.

Ridgevale Beach in Chatham is such a beautiful location  and the perfect back drop for this  future Mr. & Mrs.  The day was windy  so keeping hair flowing in the right direction and avoiding the harsh sun was a huge challenge.   What a wonderful couple - I wish them all the best for their up coming destination  wedding
